The RFME launches its national teams with the idea of helping young talents from each discipline to reach the top. The team will compete in the EMX125 European Championship and MX125 Spanish Championship.

Elías Escandell, Edgar Canet and Antonio Gallego Ramos have been the three riders selected by Paco Rico, the current national coach.

The RFME has formed a structure with everything necessary to offer a great opportunity to the riders, having top-of-the-line material to demonstrate its potential in the demanding European Championship of the 125cc category. The team aims to have the support of Spanish brands, it has the official support of the GASGAS and MTR-2 factory. The riders will carry the 2.1 handlebars on their saddles in order to have top quality material.

The first race to be held will be at Matterley Basin (England) where the season begins on February 20.
