Cadiz rider José Antonio Butrón has been proclaimed Spanish Motocross MX1 champion after winning the last race of the championship, held this weekend at the Las Arenas Circuit in Malpartida de Cáceres.
Butrón arrived at the final race with a slim one-point advantage over his main rival in the overall standings, making the day a true title final. Despite the pressure, the KTM rider demonstrated his experience and consistency, delivering an outstanding performance that allowed him to take the victory and secure the championship.
Throughout the races, Butrón displayed a high level of riding skill, controlling the pace and maintaining concentration under demanding track conditions. His performance earned him the points needed to be crowned national champion, confirming a season marked by consistency and hard work.
With this new title, José Antonio Butrón expands his already extensive list of achievements and reinforces his position as one of the leading figures in Spanish motocross.
The Las Arenas Circuit in Malpartida de Cáceres, a regular venue for national and international events, once again offered a great atmosphere and a technical track that tested the best riders in the country, thus closing a high-level season in Spanish motocross.
