The DHI European Championships were held on the legendary Champéry track (Switzerland), in the Swiss canton of Valais, on a 1,520-metre circuit where the Madrid-born rider left his mark. In addition, as it will host the World Championships in 2025, there was a high level of participation, and many riders wanted to test the track in preparation for the aforementioned event.

The Madrid native was proclaimed DHI European champion for the first time in his career as a master 45, making up for the 2nd place he achieved in 2019 in Portugal, when he was still 40. In addition, he did so by also winning in the entire 40 category and being 5th best time in the scratch máster.
